Tenergie, in partnership with Crédit Agricole Pyrénées-Gascogne Énergies Nouvelles, through their subsidiary Terres d’Énergie SAS, signed the acquisition of six 12 MW photovoltaic plants located in France, for a total power of 72 MW.
The seller is Marguerite Pantheon, a fund managed by Marguerite on behalf of Pantheon. Closing is subject to approval by the lenders of the change of control.
The transaction is the result of a competitive process managed by Astris Finance, which triggered strong interest from infrastructure funds and independent power producers. The solar plants, which cover the electrical consumption of 16,000 households, are located on the sites of Toul-Rosières in Meurthe-et-Moselle and Massangis in Yonne. They have been operational since 2012 and benefit from a power purchase agreement with EDF.
Marguerite was advised by Astris Finance (financial), Linklaters (legal), KPMG (finance & tax audit), Everoze (technical) and Norton Rose (lenders’ legal advisor).
Tenergie was advised by LPACGR (legal), Galland Avocats (legal) and Rina (technical).
