Transgaz and the Itochu Corporation of Japan signed an agreement memorandum for collaboration in big projects in the domain of natural gas – the LNG terminal in Alexandroupolis, the Whitestream pipeline from Georgia to Romania, as well as the LNG terminal on the Croatian island of Krk.
The memorandum which is valid for two years, to be joined by Romgaz as well, was signed with the intention of Transgaz to extend its activity in the sector of European energy infrastructure as well as the fact that Itochu has expertise and the capacity to evaluate and develop projects for infrastructure in the protection of the environment in the gas sector of Europe.
