Engie Energia Chile SA has announced that the 175 MVA transformer has arrived at the site of the 162 MW Calama wind farm, in the city of Calama, Antofagasta Region, Chile.
The first batch of 4.5 MW turbines have been unloaded at the port of Angamos and soon to be delivered at the site. Once operational, the project is expected to generate 460 GWh annually.
The park is scheduled to be operational by 2021.
