X-Elio has closed non-recourse financing with DNB worth US$40 million for the 58 MW La Cruz solar photovoltaic project located in the commune of Maria Elena, Antofagasta, Chile.
Norwegian bank DNB acted as sole lead arranger and sole swap provider for the transaction.
The project is expected to supply the demand of about 20,000 local homes and offset CO₂ emission up to 108.354 tonnes annually.
