Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd has secured an environmental approval for the development of the 191.93 MWp Meseta de los Andes solar photovoltaic facility located in the Valparaiso region of Chile.
The project will consist of up to 440,000 solar panels installed on about 335 hectares of land in the commune of Calle Larga. An estimated investment of US$165 million is needed for the development of the project.
Once operational, the solar farm can generate enough power to supply up to 170, 000 homes.
