Prumo and TotalEnergies have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to perform feasibility studies for the construction of logistics bases to serve 3 GW offshore wind projects in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
TotalEnergies will utilize the Port of Acu, which is currently managed by Prumo, as a logistical hub and support base for the construction, installation, and maintenance during all phases of the project.
The Port of Acu announced in September 2022 a partnership with EDF Renewables to build future offshore wind and green hydrogen projects in its region.
