TotalEnergies Sells 50% of its Shares in a Gas Power Plant in the UK

TotalEnergies has announced the sale of 50% of its shares in West Burton Energy to EPUKI, the UK subsidiary of EPH.

West Burton Energy operates a 1.3 GW gas-fired power station and a 49 MW battery storage facility in the UK. The plant is managed through a joint venture between TotalEnergies and EPUKI. West Burton Energy was fully acquired in June 2024, with plans announced to sell a 50% stake.
