Vestas won 1.1 GW order for Inch Cape offshore wind project in Scotland

Vestas has secured a firm and unconditional order for the 1.1 GW Inch Cape Offshore Wind project in Scotland from Inch Cape Offshore Limited, an equal joint venture between ESB and Red Rock Renewables.

Vestas has secured an agreement to supply, install, and commission 72 V236-15.0 MW wind turbines for the Inch Cape offshore wind project in the Scottish North Sea. The project, located 15 km off the Angus coast, includes a 10-year service agreement, followed by operational support. Turbine installation is expected to start in 2026, with full operation anticipated in 2027. The Port of Dundee will serve as the turbine installation harbor.
