Tilt Renewables Ltd has launched the sale of its 270 MW Snowtown 2 wind farm located in South Australia.
The company has commissioned Lazard to assist in reviewing its ownership of the plant, while MUFG will provide debt advisory services.
The project has been in operation since 2014. It consists of Siemens 10 x SWT101 & 80 x SWT108 3.0MW direct-drive turbines. Both turbines utilise permanent magnet generators and direct drive technology. The 10 SWT-101 turbines have a hub height of 80m and a blade length of 49m. The 80 SWT-108 turbines have a hub height of 80m and a blade length of 53m.
