Advanced Circular Polymers' plastics recycling plant, which has been part-funded by the Victorian Government, has recently opened.
The recycling plant will be powered by renewable energy produced from Goldwind Australia’s Moorabool wind park near Ballan.
The 321 MW project consists of 107 wind turbines, enough to generate power for around 200,000 average Victorian households per year. The facility is connected to the Australian grid through a 30km transmission line.
Moorabool is nearing its completion. Turbines are now delivered by Goldwind.
