Tender published for Patuha Unit 2 geothermal power plant in West Java

PT Geo Dipa Energi (Persero) has published a tender for an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for the Patuha Unit 2 geothermal power plant in West Java, Indonesia.

PT. Geo Dipa Energi (Persero) has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of the Geothermal Power Generation Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract. This contract will be jointly financed by the Japan Fund for the Joint Crediting Mechanism. Only qualified participants meeting the specified criteria are eligible to take part in this tender:

  1. Demonstrated minimum average annual turnover of USD 107.9 million in the past five years, as evidenced in audited financial statements.

  2. Involvement as a contractor, joint venture partner, or subcontractor in a minimum of two satisfactorily completed EPC projects within the last fifteen years. These projects should be similar to the proposed contract, with each contract having a minimum value of USD 86.32 million.

  3. Similar contracts should align with the following specifications: a flash-cycle geothermal power plant featuring a condensing steam turbine, with a net capacity of not less than 55 MW, or a thermal power plant (with a single unit capacity of 500 MW).

The deadline for the submission of bids will be on February 13, 2024.
