Zesco has kicked off the first stage of an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) tender for a 7.5 MW (AC) on-grid solar Photo Voltaic (PV) plant to be located at Kasupe in Lusaka province, Zambia.
ZESCO Limited, a government-owned power utility serving Zambia and the Sub-Saharan region, possesses 35 hectares of vacant land in Kasupe. This land is earmarked for the development of renewable energy projects. Kasupe is situated in the western part of the Lusaka district, approximately 20 km from the Lusaka Central Business District.
