Sungrow has signed a 500 MWac PV inverter solution supply contract with Mercury Renew, part of the Comerc Energia Group, specializing in the generation and management of renewable energy for the development of its solar plant in Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Sungrow will supply SG3125HV-30 central inverter solutions made for 1500Vdc systems, for the construction of the 650 MW Helio Valgas solar photovoltaic project located in Varzea da Palma. It will also supply a complete medium voltage solution SG6250HV-MV (Turnkey Solution), which integrates a medium voltage transformer, switchgear, and all automation into a 40-ft container; thus, significantly streamlining the transportation and O&M.
Once operational, the project is expected to generate up to 1,300 GWh of green energy
