DEREX has installed a 2.1 MW floating solar farm in Latvia.
The 2.1 MW initiative is set to supply power to the Sloka wastewater treatment plant, operated by Jurmalas Udens, the water utility in Jurmala. The Sloka facility currently constitutes 40% of Jurmalas Udens' overall energy expenditures. Installing the solar station, designed by Sungrow, will empower the plant to generate its energy. The solar modules utilized in this power station, specifically the RECOM Panther 550Wp Half Cut mono bifacial double glass frameless solar modules, were produced by RECOM Technologies.
The entire system is scheduled for deployment by the conclusion of 2023.
