Simply Blue Group has launched a virtual public consultation for the Emerald offshore wind project, a proposed floating wind farm located 35 to 60 km south of the Old Head of Kinsale in County Cork, Ireland.

The Emerald Project's core aspects, baseline conditions, and sensitivities of the receiving environment, and proposed research and evaluations are covered in the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) scoping study. It outlines the Environment Impact Assessment Report's approach and content (EIAR).

The scoping report presents an opportunity for stakeholder interaction, with public input sought to further inform the EIAR's content and scope.
