Vestas has been awarded a 56 MW order from Statkraft Ireland for the Cushaling wind project located in the counties of Offaly and Kildare, Ireland. The facility consists of nine V162-6.2 MW wind turbines at a tip height of 185 meters.
The order includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of the turbines, as well as a 35-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, designed to ensure the optimized performance of the asset.
The delivery and installation of the wind turbines are expected to occur in Q1 of 2024 with the commissioning scheduled for Q2 of 2024.
