Saint-Gobain India has signed a 20-year power purchase agreement with Vibrant Energy, a portfolio company of Macquarie Asset Management's Green Investment Group (MAM-GIG), with the 75 MWac/100 MWdc Interstate Transmission System (ISTS) connected wind-solar hybrid facility located in Madhya Pradesh, India.
Under the terms of the deal, Vibrant Energy will supply up to 189 GWh of clean energy to Saint-Gobain, reducing Saint-Gobain’s carbon emissions in India by around 120,000 tons per year.
