Suzlon has secured a turbine order from Vibrant Energy for a 99 MW new wind power project in India. The wind farm involves installing 33 wind turbine generators (WTGs) from Suzlon’s latest 3 MW series, featuring the innovative hybrid lattice tubular (HLT) tower, expected to be operational within FY25.
As part of the agreement, Suzlon Energy will supply the wind turbines, provide erection and commissioning services, and comprehensive operations and maintenance services after the commissioning of the project. The wind farm is expected to generate power for 307,000 households and reduce CO2 emissions by 2.92 lakh tonnes per year.
