IB Solar has expanded its solar photovoltaic (PV) module production capacity to 500 MW, with the addition of a 400 MW fully automated line. Located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, IB Solar plans to have the new facility fully operational by July 2024. This expansion will allow IB Solar to produce M10, half-cut, 144-cell modules, increasing their production efficiency.

Cliantech Solutions and Technologies will be IB Solar's partner for supplying, installing, and after-sales support for the new production equipment sourced from China. This addition will complement IB Solar’s 100 MW facility, which presently produces poly and monocrystalline modules.

Additionally, the company intends to expand its production by entering cell manufacturing by 2026. IB Solar is currently in talks with several European and foreign companies for joint ventures.
