Tender issued for 300 MW Floating Solar in India

NHPC Ltd has launched a tender inviting interested parties to provide engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for the development of a 300 MW floating solar photovoltaic project and the associated 220 KV transmission line for connectivity at 400 KV Grid substation along with a Comprehensive Operation and Maintenance for 05 years at Rengali Reservoir at Angul district in the State of Odisha in India. 

To qualify for the tender, the bidder should have designed, supplied, erected, and commissioned solar PV-based grid-connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 40 MW or higher, out of which at least one plant should have been of 10 MW or more or have executed in the last ten (10) years either as a developer or as EPC Contractor in the process industry or in infrastructure development of single work having a minimum value of INR1.5 billion (US$18.33 million). 

The deadline for the submission of tender documents is on May 17, 2023.
