Sabowind has announced the commissioning and full operation of its largest wind farm portfolio to date in Poland, comprising 52 Vestas V 100 wind turbines and 2 Vestas V 90 wind turbines with a capacity of 108 MW.
Sabowind Polska, a Sabowind Group company, and the buyer of the projects, DIF Infrastructure Fund VI, are pleased with the early granting of the concessions by the energy regulator. The wind farm projects developed by Sabowind Polska in Pruszcz, Markowice, Piaski, and Wyszki contribute significantly to the success of the energy transition and a future-oriented environmental policy in Poland.
With a total capacity of 108 MW, the four wind farms generate about 300 GWh of electricity annually and can thus save about 100,000 tons of carbon emissions. With the generated electricity, about 75,000 households can be supplied with renewable energy.
PAD RES is planning to build two solar photovoltaic facilities with a combined capacity of 117 MW located in Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland.
