PAD RES is planning to build two solar photovoltaic facilities with a combined capacity of 117 MW located in Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland.
The two projects will be constructed near the towns of Sztum and Mikołajki Pomorskie and will cover a total area of around 140 hectares. Once operational, the projects are expected to generate enough power for up to 65,000 homes.
Electrum, a technological and consulting group operating in the climate tech sector, has been chosen as the general contractor for both investments. PAD RES and Electrum have previously collaborated on the 35 MW Genowefa photovoltaic farm in Kleczew, Central Poland.
Cadeler has been awarded a contract to transport and install 76 Vestas 15 MW offshore wind turbines for the 1.2 GW Baltic Power project, located in the Polish Baltic Sea. This deal is worth between EUR68-EUR85 million (US$74.2 - US$92.7 million).
