VSB Energie Odnawialne Polska, the Polish subsidiary of the VSB Group, has started the commercial operation of the 42.6 MW Baranów-Rychtal wind farm project located in Wielkopolskie, Poland.
The project, consists of 11 wind turbines, generates enough power for up to 36,000 households and offsets about 45,000 tonnes of carbon emission per year. The wind farm is composed of ten Nordex N131/3.9 turbines and one Nordex N117/3.6 turbine.
The Baranów-Rychtal wind farm received its construction authorization at the end of 2019.
