Vestas has selected FairWind as its installation partner for the Człuchów Wind Farm in Northern Poland. The project will consist of 33 Vestas V110-2.2MW turbines, each with a hub height of 120 m, and will have a total capacity of 73 MW. The wind farm represents one of the largest investments in the history of Człuchów and is considered a significant milestone for the region.
FairWind, a global provider of comprehensive solutions for the installation and servicing of onshore and offshore wind turbines, will oversee the installation of the turbines at the project. The wind park will require two installation teams. FairWind has worked in over 40 countries.
The Człuchów Wind Farm will aid in the expansion of Poland's renewable energy industry and contribute towards the country's targets of reaching 32% renewable energy by 2040.
