Sabowind has announced the completion of four onshore wind farms in Poland. The wind farms, located in Pruszcz, Markowice, Piaski, and Wyszki, are equipped with 54 Vestas turbines, with a combined power capacity of 108 MW. The wind farms are expected to generate approximately 300 GWh of electricity every year, enough to meet the energy needs of around 75,000 households.
The four wind farms are owned by DIF Capital Partners, an infrastructure fund manager that acquired the portfolio from Sabowind in 2021. Sabowind remains the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor for the wind farms which have already secured 15-year contracts for difference (CfDs) with the Polish state.
