Resol Holdings Co., Ltd. has started the Full-scale operation of the 37 MW Fukushima Ishikawa Solar Power Plant that covers 72 hectares (177.9 acres) of land in Ishikawa city, Fukushima Prefecture.
The project is composed of two facilities, a 16 MW facility with 48,492 units of solar panel and a 21 MW facility with 63,612 units. The project is expected to generate enough electricity to supply for up to 10,000 homes and offset 12,000 tonnes of C02 emission per year.
The solar plant will be selling all its electricity to Tohoku Electric Power Co., Ltd.
