Aomori Shichinohe Mega Solar Power Plant GK., a joint venture formed by SymEnergy Inc and Orix Corp, has completed the construction of the 19.6 MW Shichinohe solar photovoltaic plant in Aomori Prefecture, Japan.
The Shichinohe solar PV plant is built in around 48 hectares (118.6 acres) of land area in Shichinohe town. The solar plant is scheduled to start the commercial operation by January 2020 and expected to generate 20,000 MWh per year, enough electricity to supply for about 5,500 local households.
