UK-based renewable energy developer, Renewable Energy Systems (RES Group), has secured planning approval for the development and construction of the 35 MW Limbach Solar Park located in Saxony, Germany.
The project will be installed in a 45-hectare land and can produce up to 38 million kWh of energy annually. Once operational, the solar farm is expected to produce enough power for up to 19,000 homes and offsets 30,000 tonnes of emissions per year.
The project is expected to be operational by Q2 2026.
