Pontegadea Group has completed the acquisition of a 49% stake in the 126.6 MW Kappa solar photovoltaic project from the Spanish energy group Repsol SA for a total of EUR27 million (US$27.61 million).
The Kappa solar complex consists of two 45 MW and one 36 MW plant located in Manzanares, province of Ciudad Real, in the Castilla-La Mancha autonomous region of Spain.
Two of the three solar farms in the project have been in operation since June 2021.
