Capital Energy has secured initial planning permission for the construction of the transmission line that will connect the proposed two wind projects with a combined capacity of 60 MW in Andalucia, Spain to the national grid.
The 36 MW Pinarejo I and the 24 MW Pinarejo II wind farms will be constructed in the city of Seville. The Pinarejo I wind farm will have seven turbines while the Pinarejo I site will consist of four machines.
Capital Energy plans to invest up to EUR63 million (US$64.3 million) to develop the projects.
