Photon Energy has announced plans to build a 32 MWp solar photovoltaic power portfolio in Arad Country, Romania.
The solar portfolio covers 9.3 hectares of greenfield land and features 10,600 solar panels. The project includes high-efficiency bifacial solar modules mounted on single-axis trackers that will deliver 8.7 GWh of renewable energy to Enel E-Distributie Banat's grid annually. The generated renewable energy will be sold on the energy market on a merchant basis.
The project is expected to start producing electricity in Q4 2023.
