Axpo arranged a CPPA with Verbund, an Austrian energy business, to supply an undisclosed global automotive supplier to its Romanian production plants.
The plants in Romania will get 70 GWh per year from the 226 MW Verbund wind farm in Casimcea, on the Romanian Black Sea coast, under the terms of the agreement.
The deal is backed by Guarantees of Origin (GoO) from the wind farm, which includes 88 wind turbines.
