Petrol has officially started the commercial operation of the 32.4 MW onshore wind farm located in the municipality of Ražanac, Sibenik-Knin County, Croatia.
The EUR37 million (US$38.71 million) project has been operated in test mode by Petrol's subsidiary, Vjetroelektrarna Ljubac, since July 2021 and has received the status of authorized producer on April 4, 2022.
The wind farm is equipped with 9 Nordex turbines, capable to produce 96 GWh of electricity annually and expected to generate enough energy to supply the demand of 30,000 homes.
