Petróleo Brasileiro S.A., commonly known as Petrobras, has commenced the non-binding phase for the sale of its remaining stake in the natural gas pipeline network Nova Transportadora do Sudeste (NTS).
The qualified potential buyer will be receiving a descriptive memorandum that contains more detailed information about NTS including the instructions on the divestment process and guidelines for the preparation and sending of the non-binding proposals.
NTS is a company that is based in Brazil and specializes in the transportation of natural gas in Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, and Sao Paulo. The company is co-owned of Petrobras with Nova Infraestrutura Fundo de Investimentos em Participações, an investment fund managed by Brookfield Brasil Asset Management Investimentos Ltda, and Itausa.
