Siemens Energy has been awarded the 48-month long contract operation and maintenance (O&M) contract by the Brazilian firm ADS Energia for its 108 MW Corredor dos Senandes wind project in Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil.
The deal covers the management of the substations, transmission line, and the connection bays. Siemens will also provide advanced monitoring through mobile tools.
The wind project will consist of 48 wind turbines installed on the 2,263-hectares area in the municipality of Rio Grande.
