Penso Power and Luminous Energy have obtained full planning approval for a 350 MW battery storage complex at Hams Hall, Birmingham, UK.
The project is connected to the 350 MW transmission network and the approved design allows for the deployment of over 1,750 MWh of battery storage.
The Hams Hall complex is expected to provide a wide range of services to support the UK electrical system, including long-duration services of more than 5 hours.
