Octopus Renewables to acquire 50 MW Cumberhead Wind Farm in South Lanarkshire

Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust, part of the Octopus Group, is to acquire 100% of the rights to construct a 50 MW onshore wind farm in South Lanarkshire, Scotland from RDC Partners.

The transaction and the construction of the Cumberhead project will cost an estimated GBP75 million (US$105.8 million).

The 12-turbine wind farm is expected to start operations in the fourth quarter of 2022.
