Renewable Energy Systems (RES Group) has secured asset management agreements with Octopus Energy Generation for the 46 MW Crossdykes Wind Farm and 50 MW Cumberhead Wind Farm in Scotland, UK.
Crossdykes project, located in Dumfries and Galloway, has been in operation since 2021. The wind farm has a total installed capacity of 48 MW and is made up of ten Nordex turbines. Octopus Energy Generation purchased the project in 2022 on behalf of Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust (ORIT) and the Sky fund (ORI SCSp).
The 50 MW Cumberhead Wind Farm is also managed by Octopus Energy Generation on behalf of ORIT. The project is situated in South Lanarkshire and is currently under construction. The full-scope asset management contract starts later in 2023.
