The environmental and geophysical surveys will be conducted during the next three months for the 504 MW North Falls offshore wind farm, located about 20 kilometers from the East Anglia coast, in the UK. The project, jointly owned by SSE Renewables and RWE Renewables, will be developed as an extension for the already operational 504 MW Greater Gabbard offshore wind farm.

The comprehensive surveys will be carried out by Fugro, a marine survey contractor, and will be essential for the environmental impact assessment of the North Falls project. A survey on offshore birds and marine mammals has already been completed. The project is expected to be operational by the end of 2030.
