NTT Facilities has completed the construction of the 2.8 MW F Shiwa Solar Power Station located in Hiroshima prefecture Higashi Hiroshima-shi Shimawachi, Japan.
The construction of the facility was started on April 1, 2018.
The project is expected to produce an estimated 3,231 MWh of electricity per year, enough to meet the demand of 1,080 local households. The facility's solar panels will face east and west, instead of north and south, thus increasing capacity by 23% and annual power generation by 18%.
