Japan Benex Co., Ltd. has announced that Benex Kawagoe solar port has started commercial operation.
Benex Kawagoe Solar Port is a mega solar with output of about 2.04 MW which rented the roof of logistics facility Logisport Kawagoe in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture, with annual power generation equivalent to the power consumption of about 610 households, about 2.2 million kWh annually. The PV array also uses 500 kW power conditioning system from Meidensha Corp.
The installation cost was borrowed from the Eighteenth Bank.
