3 MW solar PV project enters commercial operation

International Kogyo Co., Ltd. has recently built and completed the photovoltaic power plant Nanki Shirahama Solar Way in Shirahama cho, Wakayama Prefecture.

The scheme is a photovoltaic power plant that utilizes  34,408 sq m unused site at Nanki Shirahama airport prefecture owned by Wakayama Prefecture. About 14,300 panels are installed. With output of 2.5 MW, the annual planned electricity generation is equivalent to the consumption of about 729 households.

The solar park's output will be sold to Kansai Electric Power.
