Norsk Solar AS and Lineage Logistics have signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) involving the construction of a 1.8 MW rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Vietnam. Three PV systems will be installed atop the refrigerated storage facilities of Lineage Logistics in Song Than, Ho Chi Minh City, and Bac Ninh.
Norsk Solar anticipates that the solar plants will be capable of offsetting more than 19,650 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions over the course of their lifespan.
Presently, Norsk Solar has 70 MW of operational capacity and 39 MW under construction across the globe. In Vietnam, their portfolio contains more than 13 MW of solar power.
