Tauron Polska Energia SA has contracted Nordex SE to supply turbines for the development of the 58.5 MW Mierzyn onshore wind project that will be located in northwestern Poland.
The facility will have 15 units of N131/3900 turbines and will be constructed in Mierzyn, municipality of Gmina Dobra in West Pomeranian Voivodeship. The turbines will be installed on tubular steel towers with a hub height of 134 m.
The installation works are expected to start in 2023 with target commissioning by the second half of 2024.
