The Niger State Government, through the Project Management Unit of the Niger State Solar Energy Development Project and with financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), has invited contractors to prequalify for the construction and installation of a 100 MW solar PV power generation facility and associated grid interconnection and evacuation infrastructure in Niger State, Nigeria.
The works are being packaged into two lots. Lot 1 covers the construction and installation of the 100 MW solar PV power generation facility. In contrast, Lot 2 covers the construction of the grid interconnection and power evacuation infrastructure needed to connect the project to the electricity network. Contractors can seek prequalification for either or both lots.
The Niger State Government, through the Project Management Unit of the Niger State Solar Energy Development Project, has invited eligible contractors to submit prequalification applications. The procurement is being conducted under IsDB's procurement guidelines through International Competitive Bidding (Open) procedures.
