France-based Nexans has supplied more than 390 km of Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) cables for Enel Green Power’s 187 MW La Loma solar farm in Colombia.
The cables were manufactured at plants in Colombia and Peru and interconnected the project’s solar energy conversion systems.
The La Loma solar farm is expected to start operations in the second half of 2022.
Enel Green Power Colombia has installed the first solar panel of La Loma, the largest solar park under construction in Colombia.
