Mirova, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers has announced the project launch of Mirova Energy Transition 6 (MET6), its sixth strategy dedicated to energy transition infrastructure, aiming to raise up to EUR2 billion (USD2.1 million).
In September 2023, Mirova secured EUR1.6 billion (USD1.684 million) for MET5, the preceding fund in the series, supported by the Dutch pension fund PME. MET6, the latest fund, is designed to address the financial requirements for crucial infrastructure vital to the decarbonization of energy production and consumption. The fund's objective is to finance established technologies such as onshore and offshore wind power, solar energy, hydropower, energy storage, and efficiency.
