USD 1,057 million energy transition infrastructure fund launched

La Banque Postale, together with its asset management arm LBP Asset Management, has launched an impact infrastructure fund focused on energy transition in Europe.

This groundbreaking fund, a collaboration between La Banque Postale, LBP AM, and CNP Assurances, represents a pioneering initiative within the La Banque Postale Group, utilizing the expertise of its investment banking and asset management arms. This fund, categorized as a light-green Article 8 fund under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation, is dedicated to financing infrastructure projects that align with the technical criteria of the European green taxonomy. It will prioritize sectors such as renewable energy, circular economy, clean transport, energy efficiency, and innovative areas like e-mobility, green hydrogen, and energy storage projects.

La Banque Postale Group aims to be a major and innovative player in this market, actively supporting French and European initiatives. Managed by LBP AM, the fund contributes significantly to CNP Assurances' ambitious goals, including reaching EUR30 billion (US$31,714 million) in green investments and over EUR1 billion (US$1,057 billion) in impact investments by the end of 2025, surpassing a total impact financing commitment of EUR1.5 billion (US$1,585 million).
