Neoenergia has started construction work on its 149.3-megawatt solar project in Santa Luzia, in the Brazilian state of Paraiba.
The project will have more than 233,000 solar photovoltaic modules that can generate enough power to supply up to 100,000 homes. The solar farm will start operating in the second half of 2022 with a 12-year contract with Telco Claro SA.
