Neoenergia has started the commercial operation of the first part of the 149 MW Luzia solar photovoltaic complex located in the municipality of Santa Luzia in Paraiba, Brazil.
The entire solar complex consists of more than 228,780 solar PV modules that will generate clean energy for the Brazilian telecom Claro SA under a power purchase agreement (PPA).
Full operation of the plant is expected before the end of 2022.
